Last problem I noticed some 2D UI elements suffer from typical problems caused by increasing rendering res, easily worked around by high enough xbrz texture scaling or better - texture replacement, ofc using x1 rendering res is the correct fix for that:]. Hi you lovely people New to the forum, and just wanted to share this Sims 2 Castaway issue where any resolution higher than native has this weird 'box' around elements and textures. Saw some minor glitches as well, like when starting the game water get's some Z fighting for a short moment, slightly affected by depth rounding compat hacks, but not in a way to make them disappear so not worth using, not sure if they aren't just ment to be there as the game is rather ugly ~ neither artistic nor polished. It also does suffer from ~ 30s delay when accessing save menu, possibly caused by unimplemented sceIoChangeAsyncPriority syscall since I recall it causes weird delays like that, unthrottle can make the wait much shorter. ~no idea if it breaks anything, I just allowed AI to do stuff for a while with unthrottle while typing this post and nothing horrible happened ~ aside from some chimp getting a bit too friendly:
